It has a way over-engineered turntable beneath, just to allow for easy
re-postioning so that different stations can be listened to.
Very impressive, but prone to sand getting in when they were
taken to the beach. Yes, it wasn't just transistor sets blaring out.
Ultra R746 Twin - around 1951 & very smart indeed.
